Is Apple lagging behind Samsung?

I say Samsung is far ahead of Apple and this article is to prove this to all of you! Many people told me during the period when these new iPhones came out that you are not an Apple fan, Apple is technical, etc. When a new product is introduced, we also hype it up. We have to make it busy so that you can see and love it. But the point is that I am not an Apple fan, I only use its products.

Display; the difference is from earth to sky!

I will go one by one. AMOLED displays have been on Samsung phones since 2011. Apple released the iPhone X in 2016, and just re-made the iPhone 11 IPS. That is, AMOLED has only been on iPhones since 2017.
Always on Display has been on the Galaxy S7 since 2016, Apple will only bring the always on display to iPhones in 2022, and that’s not all iPhones, only the iPhone Pro and Pro Max.
Or for example, Samsung brought the 120Hz display to the same display in 2020. Apple used it the following year, only on the Pro and Pro Max. Apple this year on the iPhone 17, that is, in 2025, all iPhones will be 120Hz. That means we had 60Hz displays on normal iPhones just last year. It’s funny, so it turns out Samsung is ahead!

IP certification and water resistance

Let’s move on to the design. There is an IP certification in the design resistance. IP is the same certification that the phone is dustproof and waterproof. Samsung brought it in 2014, Apple brought it to its new phone in 2016. I won’t go into too much detail now.(The best flagship phones; which ones are worth your money?)

Fast charging capability

Fast charging has been on Samsung phones since 2014. Apple used it in 2017. Also, the fast charging it brought to its phone is not very fast. 2025 has just come, a higher level of 20 and 40, and now you can only find Apple’s 40-watt adapters in the US region, which is a lot of money, and there is a reward for that.(The best power bank in every price range)

NFC technology

There is a technology called NFC. In the old days, when we were kids, we used to stick these infrareds together on our phones to transfer files, and we said, “Oh, this is the end of technology.” We don’t use Bluetooth anymore, we stick these together like this. But NFC does something in the world that we are deprived of in Iran. That is the story of Apple Pay and Samsung Pay, which use NFC technology. This feature has been on Samsung phones since 2010, but Apple only added this feature in 2014, and then it wants to push Apple Pay forward.(The Best Samsung Phone in Every Price Range (October 2025))

Type-C port; a 7-year fight!

Let’s move on to a very important and controversial issue. The Type-C port has been on Samsung phones since 2016. I used to get a Type-C one and charge everything with it. Apple was forced to remove that Lightning technology in 2023 and put a Type-C one in. If they hadn’t forced it, the cable and Lightning business and that MFI certificate would have been so important to it that it would have continued to use Lightning. The Type-C port has only been on iPhones since 2023, so there’s been a gap of about 7 or 8 years between them.

Software features (Apple’s copying!)

Since the first day of Android, with Samsung’s user interface, you could add widgets. This feature has only been on iPhones for 2 years. From day one, you could place your icons anywhere on the screen. Again, it’s only been on iPhones for 2 years. Of course, widgets have been on iPhones for 3 or 4 years, I think.
Not from day one, but from the first year that Samsung phones came out, you could edit the lock screen, it only came to iPhones two or three years ago. Since 2014, 2015, the split screen feature has been on Samsung phones. Split screen is very useful. You can use two apps at the same time, split this screen into two, put two apps side by side. This feature is not yet on iPhones, is it possible? Do we have it?
That is, in terms of software, there is a series of things that are just coming to Samsung phones that Apple is just adding and is having a lot of fun with. Now, those who are Apple fans have an idea that Apple is waiting for something to reach its maturity and then adding it. Sir, what more maturity does it need if I put my app icon anywhere on the screen? I want to put this icon here and have it empty. What more maturity does this need? How sophisticated does split screen need to be? Give me the ability to see exactly where to place two apps on a 6.9-inch screen.

Artificial Intelligence (AI); Apple is losing out right now!

But there are some things that are on Samsung phones but not on iPhones. Like artificial intelligence capabilities. Apple is losing out on AI in general. Why? Because Google is behind Samsung phones, and those capabilities and features that Google has provided are on Samsung’s user interface. Of course, there are some things that are unique to Samsung. Like photo editing, deleting objects, creating objects, and generating images on Samsung are not on any other phone. Apple can’t do anything about this at all.(Google Pixel 10 Disassembly)

Foldable phones; Samsung 7th generation, Apple is still a rumor!

Or, for example, it has been rumored that Apple wants to make a foldable phone. When the iPhone Air came out, everyone said that the iPhone’s thinness was probably because it was a clone of Apple’s foldable phones that Apple is planning to introduce in, say, six months to a year. But here’s the thing, Samsung now has the seventh generation of its foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
