Realme C71 phone review

realme-c71-design

Even if you lose power for 5 hours a day, every day, you won’t have any problems with this phone. The Realme C71 is here; a phone that can hold a charge for 2 days. Welcome to another review of the Realme C71.

Realme C71 Design Review

Let’s move on to the first part. Where we see a naturally all-plastic design. The back cover gives you a very good feeling; it has a nice feel, a cool design and texture. Of course, it’s all printed, meaning you won’t see anything prominent. There are no fingerprints on it at all (on this white color). The camera package is in a rectangle with very little protrusion, housing 3 lenses. There’s a flash. There’s also a 50-megapixel logo. I wish it wasn’t so white in your eyes; for example, it was a bit gray, it would have been better if it was the same color, but it doesn’t really matter.

The phone is naturally plastic all around. The bottom of the phone has a Type-C port, a 3.5mm jack, a speaker, and a microphone. The right edge has the power button and volume up and down. There is nothing special on the top of the phone. The left edge has a SIM card tray on top.
The front panel has a flat display. The bezels are the same on the left and right, and asymmetrical on the top and bottom. The top is a little more than the left and right, the bottom is much more than the left and right. It is a bit asymmetrical. After a while, you get used to it. This usually happens in budget phones. It weighs under 200 grams and the 6000 mAh battery is really attractive.
The interesting thing about this phone is that it has an IP68 certificate. That means in this price range, it has a certificate of resistance to water and dust penetration. It is even resistant to shocks and such. If you remember, I reviewed a Realme C75, I cracked a nut with it. This is also its family, but its focus is not on resistance. It is true that it has an IP certificate, but you should treat it a little softer.

Realme C71 screen review

The next section is the screen section. Where we see an IPS display that is 120 Hz. Again, in this price range, 120 Hz is a bit special! And you can’t find it on all displays. This 120 Hz is the trump card of this phone. It is true that it is IPS and has a resolution of 720. In this range, being IPS and having a resolution of 720 is normal. But usually, brands are going to give you a 90 Hz refresh rate. This phone is 120 Hz, which is the trump card.

It has a very high brightness, but IPS displays usually give you this feeling. Especially if it is 720, you can see some shadows, for example, in dark areas. It doesn’t have the quality of 1080 a bit. 720 isn’t quite the same as seeing pixel by pixel, but for example, in high-quality videos, you can’t expect very high quality. In this price range, it can really get a good tick because of its 120 Hz.(Xiaomi Redmi 15C review)

Review of the battery performance of the Realme C71 phone

Battery Performance Neon Chart

Battery Performance — Neon Summary

6000 mAh Battery

Movie 10%
Instagram 3-4%
COD 7-8%
Camera 15-16%
Up to 2 days
with 1–1.5 hour charge

vs competitors
45W Fast Charger
Full charge in 80–90 min

The next part is the battery section. The versions that come to Iran have a 6000 mAh battery capacity. According to Realme itself, if you charge it for 1 hour, you can use it for up to 2 days. This claim is a bit of a big claim, but it is not a far-fetched claim. If you charge it for 1 hour, an hour and a half, you can really use it normally for up to 2 days.
For example, watching a movie for 1 and a half hours with this phone will reduce its charge by 10%. If you scroll through Instagram for 1 hour with VPN on and connected to WiFi, it will reduce its charge by 3-4%. If you play Call of Duty for an hour, it will drain 7-8% of its charge. If you spend an hour in the camera app, take a video, or take a photo, it will drain 15-16%.

It really gives you a strange battery in terms of charge consumption and battery capacity. I’ll tell you in the summary section what this battery is good for, but it really gives you an unparalleled charge on a 6000 mAh battery that its competitors can’t even come close to. An unparalleled charge.

It also has an adapter, which is a 45-watt adapter. Usually phones in this price range give you, 18 watts? No, 25 watts? No, they give you 33 watts in terms of adapters. But this phone gives you a 45-watt adapter that can fully charge the phone in an hour and 20 minutes, an hour and a half. Now consider this: 6000 mAh can be fully charged in an hour and a half, which is quite a feat. Overall, the battery pack, charging, and discharging are really great.(Xiaomi Poco X6 Pro long-term review)

Realme C71 Camera Review

Camera Performance Chart
Camera Performance Overview
Low-Light Performance
Detail & Clarity
Sharpness
Video Quality (1080p)
Selfie Camera

The next part is the camera, where this phone’s weak point is. It has a 50-megapixel sensor that is not very good in low light. You can record memories with it; you can’t take photos with it, for example, do artistic work. In this price range, we have phones with better cameras than this phone. That is, if your focus is on the camera, you can go to its competitor. But this phone has a battery. It says, look, I put the battery in. I have a camera, you can take pictures. I’ll give you a 50-megapixel main, an ultrawide. But look, that’s all it accepts.
You can see examples of the photos it takes. It doesn’t have much detail. It has some problems with sharpness. It gives you a normal dynamic range down. The photo is just like, I recorded this memory. For example, we went and these were here. How cool. Zooming in on photos, for example to see details, or to take a cool photo and post it on your profile, is not possible with this phone.
It’s almost the same in video recording. It gives you 1080p video recording at 30 frames per second, which is the same. That means you can record videos with it. Overall, it’s not very focused on the camera.
The next section is the selfie camera section. It also has a 5-megapixel selfie. Again, I’ll say it, it’s not very focused on the camera, and you shouldn’t expect much from its camera. I’m zooming in on a selfie photo it took of me. When you zoom in, everything becomes blurry. At first glance, it’s okay to look at it that way. But if you want to be more precise, it’s not.(Samsung’s copying of Apple)

Realme C71 Hardware Review

Let’s move on to the hardware. Where we have a Unisoc T725 processor. A processor that’s not at all suitable for heavy gaming, but it’s okay in the user interface. That means you experience something smooth in the user interface. Not that it doesn’t have any lag or bugs at all; sometimes you want to open and close apps and switch, and you see some lag. But in this price range, it’s really attractive.

So don’t expect to play games with this phone. Because Call of Duty, if you open it at all until you get to the game stage, it will bother you a bit. You can play, but it will bother you. It depends a lot on your previous experience with the phone. If you had a phone that played smoothly, you will probably have problems with this phone. But if your phone has always been a priority in terms of hardware, for example, this phone is the same. You can’t play games with it, but in the user interface it gives you a working user interface.

Realme C71 software review

It gives you Android 15 and Realme UI 6.0. It has some great features and capabilities. Now, some of the features are hardware and its combination with software. For example, you can swipe on your power button. You can move it up and down, adjust what happens. It’s a little bit above the power button with the volume up and down button, but we set it so that when you swipe the power button up and down, it lowers and increases the volume. You can set it to open an app for you or other effects.

Or around the sensor in the camera, there’s a light. It’s called Pulse Light. When you get a notification, it’s around the light, it changes color and lights up. In its own user interface, for example, it can have Air Gesture. That is, you can scroll with your hand. A user interface that gives you some cool customization features with salt, and its combination with the hardware, specifically for the user interface, is OK.

Realme C71 Speaker Review

The sound is mono, not stereo, which is normal. The speaker is not defined, but since it uses a 3.5 mm jack, you can use it to have quality sound without delay with quality headphones. The speaker condition is the same as the price range; a little weaker.

Is the Realme C71 worth buying?

Let’s go to the summary of the realme c71 review. This phone gives you a neat and clean design that cannot be seriously flawed. A cool phone with decent and good performance. The features of this phone are:

  • Screen: 120 Hz is really a winning card.
  • Battery: And the main thing about this phone is its 6000 mAh battery that has an extraordinary charging capacity for its price.
Weaknesses: The camera and hardware were not the priority of this phone. The hardware is not good for gaming, meaning you can’t play games with it much; the user interface is OK.
But who is the Realme C71 good for?
It is good for those who don’t have the patience to charge. That is, they want to charge their phone once, so that they don’t have to use it for a day, a day and a half, or 2 days. They also have a smooth and soft use with it. It is good for motorcyclists. That is, if you work with a motorcycle and, for example, you want a phone that has good charging, this phone will do the job for you.
It is generally good for those who need charging. That is, just charging. That is, you want to spend 24 hours on Instagram, you spend 24 hours on YouTube. A second phone that you can use as a hotspot, for example, to give you a good battery.
The trump card of this phone is the battery. So pay attention to this. In addition to the battery, it also gives you an acceptable screen and design. It also has military and IP certification. On the other hand, my camera is not good for casual photography and its hardware is not good for gaming.
